Maslow's Motiviational Theory

Maslow’s (1943) Motivational Theory

Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs is an example of a theory that can be related to motivation for management and also for individuals and teams.

Maslow feels that people are motivated by their needs and these are in a hierarchical order.  However it is not neccessary for them to be achieved in this order. (See Buzz Lightyear and Woody.
